Travel Assembly Technician
Brownwood, TX, USA
$20-$22/hr with $45 per diem per day
Traveling Assembly and Repair Technician need to travel 10 days on, 4 days off. The ideal candidate will bring 2 years of conveyor belt experience, 2 years of hydraulic experience, and 1 year of basic industrial electrical knowledge. This hybrid role involves extensive travel to support our operations nationwide.
Essential Functions
· Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at remote locations and strategically located facilities across the country.
· Use hand and power tools proficiently.
· Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and work independently to meet deadlines.
· Accurately record and report working hours and materials used.
· Perform tool repairs and manage equipment inventory.
· Set up and maintain work areas and equipment in compliance with safety protocols and ensure they are clean and organized.
· Operate forklifts, skytracks, manlifts, and overhead cranes (overhead crane experience preferred).
· Work on multiple priorities under tight deadlines, managing frequent interruptions.
· Adhere to all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
· Travel up to 100% of the working time to meet operational needs.
· Follow written and verbal instructions with precision.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
· Be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Fitter

Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing structural, mechanical, or fabricated components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. The role involves measuring, cutting, aligning, and securing parts while ensuring quality, safety, and accuracy throughout the fabrication or installation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal or other materials
Assemble structural or mechanical components using hand and power tools

General Labor-Fleet

General Labor needed full time Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Saturdays as needed. Will maintain a fleet of vehicles, trailers, and tooling in terms of fuel, minor repairs, and detailing/cleaning. Maintenance Technician III

Mechanical Maintenance III position is now open for an industrial plant in Brownwood. This is someone with extensive experience in electrical and drive knowledge.
This position requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations. They must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient. The work of Maintenance Technicians can often be physically demanding. In order to install and repair equipment, they may need to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time. They must also be able to operate tools in close proximity to mechanical and electrical components.
Maintenance Technicians must also be able to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions. They must also be motivated to work on their own and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are a necessary part of this position.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of industrial equipment.
Work as a team member or alone to complete projects.
On call to assist 24/7 operations in preventing unplanned downtime and or reducing downtime situation as they occur.
Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
Make decisions based on technical documents.
Perform quality testing and inspections.
Interpret and maintain consistent PM schedules
Troubleshoot equipment failures
Develop and maintain relationships with outside contractors
Hours are Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm. with on-call rotation (every third week) with pay incentives for call-ins. Must be able to work overtime, holidays and weekends.
Starting pay is $30 per hour.

Draftsman

We are seeking a Mechanical Drafter on a contract basis to support our team during busy periods and handle batches of drafting work. This Is an excellent opportunity for an entry level or junior drafter to gain hands-on experience using SolidWorks and DraftSight In a real manufacturing and energy environment. Workload will fluctuate — during peak times you may work full days or weeks completing drawing batches; slower periods will be lighter or on-call.
Key Responsibilities
-Convert product designs and engineer specifications Into detailed 2D technical and manufacturing drawings using DraftSight and SolidWorks.
-Create basic 3D models and simple assemblies in SolidWorks to verify fit, check Interferences, and support layout designs.
-Interpret and Incorporate design specifications, engineering notes, redlines, and P&IDs Into accurate drawings.
-Pull existing drawings from SolidWorks PDM, make revisions, and properly check files In/out while maintaining organization.
-Review and modify drawings to ensure they meet manufacturing requirements, tolerances, and company standards.
-Create and update Bills of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing and assembly processes.
-Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability before release.
-Prepare documentation for manufacturing and update as-built drawings based on field markups or modifications.

Production Operator

Job duties include but not limited to:
Ability to follow safe practices. Must participate in daily safety routines. Perform calibration functions on processing equipment, use of basic hand and power tools. Measure product and verify that dimensional tolerances are within acceptable criteria. Prepare product for shipping per various packaging requirements. Assist teammates as required.
Successful candidates will need the following qualifications:
General knowledge and experience using various types of hand tools. Basic computer and math skills.
Proficient in communicating in English language (both verbal and written). Capable of lifting approximately 30 lbs. without an assist. Must be able to differentiate colors. Capable of standing for long periods of time on concrete flooring. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Schedule: Rotating 12 hour shifts. Month of days. Month of nights.
Shifts are 6:45am to 7p or 6:45pm to 7a.

Ensure proper sealing, bonding, and calibration for safe and accurate installations
