About the Job
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Travel General Laborer to assist with underground construction for various pipe installations. This position supports equipment operators and crews by performing digging, material handling, roadway work, and general labor tasks in a construction environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with conduit construction for cable installation
Support heavy equipment operators on job sites
Perform digging, cleanup, and movement of roadway materials
Follow all company safety procedures and safe work practices
Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Travel to job sites as needed
Assist with general construction labor duties Additional Information
Pay is weekly between $16-$20/Hour
This is a weather-dependent job. Some weeks may include overtime, while other days may have limited or no work due to weather conditions
Majority of work requires travel
Employees travel in company vehicles
For qualifying travel jobs located 60+ miles away, employees are responsible for covering hotel costs upfront and will be reimbursed through per diem on their paycheck. Hotel accommodations are arranged by the company, and employees should expect shared hotel rooms during travel assignments.
Hours begin once on the job site
Company provides tools and PPE
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be dependable and arrive on time
Comfortable working outdoors and getting dirty
Ability to work some weekends as needed
Must follow safe work practices at all times
Ability to travel regularly for work
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating or working around heavy equipment preferred, but not required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
CDL is a plus, but not required
