About the Job
Traveling Assembly and Repair Technician need to travel 10 days on, 4 days off. The ideal candidate will bring 2 years of conveyor belt experience, 2 years of hydraulic experience, and 1 year of basic industrial electrical knowledge. This hybrid role involves extensive travel to support our operations nationwide.
Essential Functions
· Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at remote locations and strategically located facilities across the country.
· Use hand and power tools proficiently.
· Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and work independently to meet deadlines.
· Accurately record and report working hours and materials used.
· Perform tool repairs and manage equipment inventory.
· Set up and maintain work areas and equipment in compliance with safety protocols and ensure they are clean and organized.
· Operate forklifts, skytracks, manlifts, and overhead cranes (overhead crane experience preferred).
· Work on multiple priorities under tight deadlines, managing frequent interruptions.
· Adhere to all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
· Travel up to 100% of the working time to meet operational needs.
· Follow written and verbal instructions with precision.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
· Be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements
High school or equivalent
3 years of assembly experience
1-2 years of electrical experience
Ability to lift and move heavy objects with or without accommodations
Ability to use forklift
Work independently as well as in teams
Ability to route and connect electrical harnesses
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Able to recognize, own and act on assembly problems or errors and recommend corrections
Must be proficient in accuracy and attention to detail
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
