About the Job
The Plant Hand will support daily operations at our Comanche facility. This role includes learning the blending process, operating heavy equipment, and assisting with general plant maintenance and upkeep. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and perform blending operations accurately and safely
Operate a front-end loader and forklift
Unload hopper trailers into designated bins
Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment as needed
Assist with mowing and general plant grounds upkeep
Complete all other duties as assigned. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Flexibility to start early or stay late depending on seasonal workload
Occasional half-day Saturdays during fall and spring
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Strong basic math skills to read scales and follow blend formulas accurately
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to stand for extended periods
Light to moderate lifting as required
Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
