Position: Human Resource Specialist
Pay: $50,000 to $75,000 annually
Type: Temp to Hire or Direct Hire

Manages all aspects of HR to include Onboarding; FMLA/Leave of Absence/Maternity & Paternity Leave; Recruiting; Workers Comp; & Unemployment Claims; Insurance Claims; Complaints, Disciplinary Actions and Terminations
• Recruiting: Scheduling, Interviewing, tracking job posts and job boards to include social media platforms; corresponds with headhunters
• Enroll and terminate employees in the health benefits and carrier portal in a timely manner
• Maintain employee benefit files and benefit portal
• Co-coordinates Open Enrollment process – some travel may be required during OE
• Reconcile monthly benefit invoices against payroll deductions
• Coordinates with payroll on employee benefit enrollment
• Manages 401k retirement account to include weekly reconciliation, and annual audit
• Coordinate with vendor consultants on accuracy for benefits

Skills:
• Strong understanding of benefit plans to include 401k
• Understanding of HR policy and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

Requirements

  • 5-years’ experience in HR

  • 2-years’ experience in Benefits
